Board of Directors application

What the board does

• Approves the annual budget and oversees association finances
• Certifies tournaments and ratifies tournament committee decisions
• Reviews and votes on Hall of Fame inductees
• Approves changes to by-laws (subject to membership ratification)
• Represents the association to USBC national
• Serves as the appeals body for league and tournament disputes

Time commitment

Roughly 4–8 hours per month — monthly board meetings (in person or hybrid), email decisions between meetings, and tournament-day presence during the season. Officers and committee chairs commit additional time.

How to apply

Download the Board of Directors application, complete it, and return it to the association office — applications must be postmarked by May 15 each year. Open seats are filled by member vote at the Annual Meeting; the board may also fill mid-term vacancies by appointment.
