The Greater Kansas City USBC Association (“KCUSBC,” “we,” or “the association”), USBC Association #81243, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us through this site:

• Contact and inquiry forms — your name, email address, USBC number (if you provide one), and your message.
• Hall of Fame nominations — the nominee’s and nominator’s names, email addresses, USBC numbers, and the accomplishments you describe.
• Board and volunteer applications — your name, contact details, USBC number, and the background information requested on the form.

You do not need an account to browse this site, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

How we use it

We use what you submit only to respond to you and to carry out association business — answering questions, reviewing Hall of Fame and award nominations, processing board and volunteer applications, and maintaining membership and certification records. Membership and certification information is shared with the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) as needed to certify leagues, members, and honor scores.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand which pages are visited so we can improve the site. It is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifying information. We do not use advertising or marketing trackers.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies used are limited to those necessary for the site to function.

Payments

This website does not currently process online payments. Tournament entry fees and other payments are handled directly with the association office.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for adults — league secretaries, members, parents, and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent; youth membership and tournament matters are handled through parents or guardians and league officials. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Keeping and protecting your information

We keep the information you submit only as long as needed for the purpose you provided it and for the association’s records, and we take reasonable steps to protect it. To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion, contact the association office.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
