The Greater Kansas City USBC Association is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including bowlers, members, and family who use assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnification. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

How we build for accessibility

• Semantic, standards-based HTML with proper headings and landmarks
• Real, descriptive links and labeled form fields
• Full keyboard navigation, a “skip to main content” link, and visible focus indicators
• Color combinations chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast
• Respect for the “reduce motion” setting in your browser or device
• Automated accessibility testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 AA rules) runs before we push changes

Known limitations

Some downloadable documents (PDF forms and tournament results) come from older sources and may not yet be fully accessible. If you need the information in one of these documents in another format, please contact the office and we will help.
